What do we do to remove Odour & Smell from Wool Rugs?
At Devine Rug Care, we understand wool rugs very well and thus use the suitable solution and equipment to ensure a superior clean, rug smell & odor removal, without the risk of colours being altered or fibres being damaged. Our professional wool rug cleaners can be trusted with premium rugs that are worth several thousands of dollars to make sure that they come out clean and odor free.
Once the rug reaches our care facility, we conduct an initial inspection so that the wool rugs don’t lose the shine and dye. We take note of pre-existing damage, stains and spills. Depending on the rug’s material, we customise an appropriate cleaning solution to provide complete fibre protection and odor removal.
The cleaning process starts when the wool rugs are brought to our large wash pits, where we remove all the stains, spills, deep-seated dirt, mould, bad odours and smells. Then, we use our commercial-grade centrifuge machine to rinse rugs of all sizes. After cleaning and rinsing your rug thoroughly, we make it dry and groom it with care to get it back to looking new and fresh back again. We also apply our non-toxic stain protector to prevent future spills, stains and bad odors from settling deep inside the rug’s fibres.
Whether your wool rug is tufted or woven, handmade or machine-made, we can clean it using suitable products and methods.
What may be causing my carpet to smell in the first place?
Carpets don’t get bad smells and odors. Instead, odours arise from what’s inside carpets. There are various reasons for the same. Anything from pet urine, human waste, soil, pollen, dirt buildup, accumulation of oily stains, to mould can become sources of bad odor when they get stuck inside the carpet’s fibres. Negligence towards professional carpet cleaning is another reason why your carpet may smell bad.
However, if you vacuum the carpet daily, follow strict carpet rules, and invest in our services of carpet cleaning, you can keep it from smelling bad.
